Adsl Network Problems

If you are having adsl network problem, such as disconnection issues then it's important that you try to determine whether or not you are losing the connection on your modem or from your router.

Be sure that you have correctly selected the correct drivers for your modem, if the driver is incorrect then you will need to reinstall the correct driver. Then restart your computer when prompted and see if that fixes your problems. Also you should check to see if there is any new releases of drivers for your modem, by going to the manufacturers website.

Sometimes there is internal wiring problems, so to check this you will need to make sure that you remove all of the devices that are using the line, such as phones, or faxes and then connect directly to the master socket.

If you are having any speed problems then this will cause problems with your connection. So you need to use a speed checker to ensure that your speed is fast enough are getting the correct speed. There are many speed checkers available online that you can use.

This a bit more serious issue, it's the power supply to your motherboard. Sometimes there is a power management problem with some types of motherboards. And this will cause the USB ports to loose power randomly. So if you are loosing your connection for a short period of time and then regaining it this may be your problem.

Having adsl network problems can make your head spin, it seems that there is not ever going to be a solution, but there is hope. It may take some different troubleshooting methods to find it but there is always a solution to the problem.

Sometimes the best thing is to disconnect everything and starting from scratch. If you do this then you need to make sure that you uninstall all of the software and drivers that you have on your computer right now. Otherwise you may just be in the same position that you are in right now, and I can guarantee that you don't want to be here. Make sure you go very slowly through this entire process reinstalling everything you don't miss a beat here.
