Diagnosing Wireless Network

Diagnosing wireless network problems can become very exhausting and may seem as if there is not end solution, but there is hope. If you are not a technical type of person but you are attempting to get your internet connection to work on you own, then the best thing that you can do, that will save you many frustrating hours is to start from the beginning. Almost all of the wireless network problems fall under one of two categories- the physical installation of your wireless network and the drivers that are installed.

It's crazy how many different things can cause problems with your wireless network, this is why diagnosing your wireless network can take some time to do. There's no other way to do this but to go through each different scenario to find the underling cause.

But you will find the problem and hopefully you know how you fixed the problem. It's great that it got fixed, but it's even better when you know how you did it so if it was to happen again then you will be able to fix it in just a few minutes instead of hours or days.

Starting from the beginning and reinstalling everything usually is the fix that you have been searching for this is because generally the problem is due to a missed connection somewhere. It can be a loose cat5 wire, or a network card that is not properly inserted in the PCI slot, or maybe it's in the wrong slot. There are so many times that we are rushing through to hurry up and get this connected that we often forget to do one simple but crucial step along the way. This is why disconnecting your entire wireless network and uninstalling the software, and then reinstalling everything can be the best thing. That is of course if you pay close attention to every single step that you are required to do.

So make sure that all of the wires are in the proper spots, and that the network adapter card is proper inserted, and if that all checks out then your only option is to begin disconnecting everything and starting from phase one.

I understand that I am not really diagnosing your wireless network problem, but like I said before there are just so many different things that can be causing your problem, and there is not just a simple answer to your problem like you wish there was. I've been there I know the frustration from first hand experience. Take this as a learning experience.
