So let’s take a look at your problem connecting to wireless network. There are generally two main causes – the physical installation, or the drivers that are installed. First you should up date your wireless adapters driver, you can get an updated driver from the manufactures website and download it. Just because your wireless network is not working does not mean that you can’t connect to the internet. Just use your trusty cat5 wire directly from your modem to your computer and your connection will work. Oh and make sure that you are downloading the right driver for the model router you have, so you are not is the same situation you are currently in right now. Because if this is the problem you won’t know it because you still have the wrong driver, so pay close attention to this step. After you have installed your driver, you should also check to make sure that the version software you are using for your wireless adapter is also up to date. If it is good just go and install the new driver and see if that is going to solve your problem connecting to wireless network. Don’t get all worked up again, there are some other things that you can do to try and resolve this connectivity issue. Sometimes the configuration of your wireless network profiles get changed, and this will cause you to lose your connection. So let’s go into your network profiles and take a peek to see if this is your problem connecting. First check that your DCHP is configured to automatically obtain and IP address, if it’s not then you need to turn this on. Once you have enabled this you will need to restart your computer so that it can renew the IP and you can hopefully get online. If this didn’t work then you will need to manually input the IP address. It’s not a simple process when you are having a problem connecting to a wireless network, but if you continue to try and find the issue it will arise.
