If your wireless network has been working fine and then all of a sudden your strong signal becomes a weak one, or none at all then you need ask your self a couple of questions. Have you changed anything on the network at all, such as adding new hardware, software, bought a new cordless phone.

If you answered no to all of the above questions then your problem just may be that one of your neighbors is using the same access point that you are. I am not suggestion that you begin going door to door to find the culprit, but rather you need to find a different channel for your connection. This usually fixes the issue.

If you answered yes that you bought a new cordless phone then it is probably working on the same gig hertz that your wireless router is causing an interference with it. To fix this you will need get rid of that new phone and buy another that will not interfere with your connection.
