Are You Having A Wireless Network Adapter Problem?

Well there is help. Believe me I know the how frustrating it can be when you are trying to fix your wireless network, and when you are searching online for answers it seems like there is just a repeat of information that doesn't solve your problem at all.

You wireless network adapter problem can be a simple fix, or it may just be one of the most frustrating tasks that you have ever taken on.

There are two types of problems that generally occur with these adapters, and that is the physical installation or the driver.

So let's look at the physical installation first.

First, you will want to check that the network adapter card is in the correct PCI slot, and that it is all the way in the slot. Don't force it because it can break.

This may sound silly but it is often overlooked. If you are using an external USB network adapter, you should check that is connected to the port of your PC properly, and that the hub is plugged into the outlet. If it is connected then you should try connecting the adapter directly into a port on the PC.

Alright now for your driver. It's very common to install the wrong driver for you hardware. It's always like you are rushing to hurry up and get the installation done that you may not have read the device driver correctly. And you are now paying the price for that mistake. But it's a simple fix.

If your connection just won't stay connected and it is connecting and disconnecting, then you should try to first update the network adapter drivers. The drivers frequently have updated versions being released so you should check with the manufacturer and see if your version is the newest one.

You should also try upgrading your client software for your wireless network adapter at the same time of updating your drivers. Some manufacturers will have a release of both together, in a convenient package. You will need to uninstall the current version before you install the new one.

If none of these things correct your wireless network adapter problem then your best bet is to call the manufacturer and ask them for help. They will be better suited to tell you the problem. And you have already cancelled out what the problem is not, by changing the driver and software and also checking that the everything is connected properly.
